Suddenly on Thursday, November 16, 2023 at the St. Catharines Hospital at the age of 67. Beloved wife of Robert 'Bobby' for 27 years. Dearest sister of Micheline (late Gerald), late Diane Girouard, late Jacques, Pierre (Ginette), Jean (Ginette), Annette (Pierre) and Daniel (Julie). Dear sister-in-law of Kristine (Tom) and Kirk (Cindy). Sylvie will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and other extended family.
Sylvie was Bobby's love of his life. She enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, cooking and beach holidays. Sylvie & Bobby enjoyed life together. Sylvie would go with Bobby fishing but instead of fishing she would take pictures of birds & wildlife. Wherever Sylvie would go she would light up the room with her smile, knowledge and wisdom. Sylvie was a long time member of the Canadian Corps Unit #44, Thorold. Sylvie was very close to her family. Originally from Windsor, Quebec. Sylvie lived most of her life in Thorold.
Funeral Service will be held at the HAINE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 26 Ormond Street South, Thorold on Thursday, November 23 at 11:00 am. Interment at Lakeview Cemetery, Thorold. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
