In a statement to ThoroldNews, Sponsor Chair Tim Miotto announced, "The Thorold Amateur Athletic Association is proud to host the 2019 Beaverloch Farms Hockey Tournament at the Frank Doherty and James Whyte Arenas."
"The event will mark the 25th anniversary of this great tournament supported by the Smith Family of Thorold," said Miotto.
"To honour the 25th Anniversary of the Beaverloch Farms Hockey Tournament the Thorold Amateur Athletic Association had a special plaque made and was presented to the family," he added.
Each year, The Beaverloch Farms Hockey Tournament has 28 to 30 teams that register for this event. As a result there are approximately 600 to 700 new visitors to Thorold for the Nov. 8 to 10 weekend.
Those hundreds of hockey families are here to enjoy all that Thorold and the Niagara Peninsula has to offer.
"This could not have happened without the continual support of the Smith Family year after year," said Miotto.
The Thorold Amateur Athletic Association encourages all citizens of Thorold to come out and support the future stars and watch some great hockey.
