A new Thorold business slogan will be making the rounds on local radio stations and in other advertising campaigns in attempts to stimulate the local small business economy, severely maimed by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The slogan "Shop Where You Live. Love Where You Shop" was created by local artist Susan France, and was the winning contribution among 30 others in a slogan contest put on by the 'Shop Thorold'-campaign.
France received a prize packets from local businesses and will see her slogan officially introduced at a ceremony downtown Friday, where she will also receive a certificate of appreciation by Thorold Mayor Terry Ugulini.
