Special weather statement in effect for:
- Niagara Falls - Welland - Southern Niagara Region
Strong winds are expected to develop Thursday morning.
Southwesterly winds gusting up to 80 km/h are possible, especially for areas near Lake Erie. The strong winds will slowly ease Thursday afternoon.
High winds may toss loose objects and cause tree branches to break. Local power outages are also possible.
