This is definitely the week to win big with Hospice Niagara.

On Thursday night, Susan Marett of St. Catharines caught the Ace of Spades and won the highest jackpot ever in Hospice Niagara’s Catch the Ace lottery history – an amazing $476,344.

“I know how valuable hospice is to our community,” she said. “It’s a good cause to support. So I did.”

The Ace of Spades remained hidden for 46 weeks as the progressive jackpot and excitement grew. Thursday night at 6 p.m., it came to a thrilling finish when the weekly winner’s card was revealed — and it was indeed that illusive Ace of Spades.

And if this was not excitement enough, in just three more days…five people will win their dream car or take the cash in the finale of Hospice Niagara’s 5 Car Draw – the Grand Prize Draw – on Monday at 3 p.m.

Tickets are sold online.

You can also come see us at the St. Catharines Rotary Ribfest, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, noon to 8 p.m. Or, we’ll be selling tickets in front of Hospice Niagara all this week and Monday too!

Ticket Price:

  • $25 each ticket
  • 5 tickets for $100
  • 10 tickets for $175 (Best Deal)

“Everyone who participates should feel immensely satisfied knowing their contribution is helping us provide care, compassion and dignity for people and families across Niagara,” said Alicia Merry, Director, Marketing, Communications and Fund Development.

“Our community becomes a better, kinder place to live when we support people with the care they deserve.”
