The new accessible playground in Battle of Beaverdams Park is starting to come together.
On Monday, crews could be seen working on the area of the park, which will feature a previously ordered custom playground, including a wheelchair-friendly swing.
The revival of the central Thorold park has been underway for some time, and has been held back by supply chain delays brought on by the Covid-pandemic.
The city has said it is anticipating the park opening at the end of June.
