The Brock Badgers have much to celebrate on the court, winning their third consecutive Ontario University Athletics (OUA) Women’s Volleyball Championship. Brock’s number-two nationally ranked team—which had the home advantage—defeated the McMaster Marauders 3-1 Friday, March 8, inside the Bob Davis Gymnasium.

Fonthill’s Emily Foest—a third-year Kinesiology student—recorded 11 digs to help the Badgers win. She was also named an OUA First Team All-Star ahead of the championship game.

Overall, Brock finished first in the conference with a record of 18-2. Foest led the Badgers’ offense with 205 kills during the regular season. She registered a team-high 2.97 kills per set and 24 service aces. Foest was second on the team with 182 digs.
