Following Friday’s provincial announcement which saw capacity limits at venues and arenas restored to up to 100 percent, the Ontario Performing Arts Centre in St Catharines revealed some of its upcoming events, along with a hefty ticket sale.

After closer to two years of cancelled and maimed events, the PAC said its first batch of upcoming concerts and performances include a Rolling Stones-showcase, The Nutcracker ballet show, and more.

The PAC intimate music series, Pairings, in Robertson Theatre will remain capped at 50 people, and PAC partners, the Niagara Symphony Orchestra and Bravo Niagara! Festival of the Arts have also decided to maintain a 50% house with their performances this fall for the time being. The PAC has chosen to keep a reduced capacity in The Film House and will have concession items available in the licenced cinema. The PAC is supporting a gradual return for both their programs as well as community programs, while at the same time supporting larger capacity opportunities as well.

The PAC officially reopens and is set to host several exciting events this weekend in downtown St. Catharines. The Pairings series kicks off with celebrated Indigenous artists Julian Taylor and Semiah Smith on Fri 15 Oct at 7:30pm. Pairings continues on Sat 16 Oct at 7:30pm with Dizzy & Fay (featuring Mark Lalama and Amanda Walther of Dala) + Juno Award winner Sammy Jackson. In-person tickets are available, or get pay-what-you-can livestream access starting at $0.
