ParaSport Ontario® presents the Niagara Sledge Hockey League official Puck Drop taking place at Ridley College on Saturday December 11, 2021.
ParaSport Ontario® (PSO) is proud to bring the official Niagara Sledge Hockey League (NSHL) Puck Drop to Ridley College for the first time. The Puck Drop will be a celebration of our first season of play and we welcome you to join us for the presentation of NSHL’s official jerseys to our athletes! The event begins after NSHL practice at 4pm and ends at 5pm, followed by a scheduled league game. We will be joined by representatives from the Ontario Trillium Foundation, Canadian Tire Jumpstart and Meridian Credit Union, who are primary supporters of the NSHL and this event.More details about the event include:
EveryBODY in attendance will have the opportunity to try sledge hockey on the ice before jersey presentations begin. A game will be taking place after the jersey presentations and those in attendance are encouraged to stay and observe.
Each registered sledge hockey player will receive their official league jerseys designed by Niagara College graphic design students. PSO will be recognizing the students who contributed their time and logo designs during the ceremony.
All players, their families and friends, are welcome to join. A raffle table will be available and draw will take place after presentations. Free catering will be provided.
This event also supplies information regarding league operations, administrative policies, protocols, and on-ice expectations entering the new season.
