Young entrepreneurs Jordan Cupolo and Bo D’Onoforio decided to take their successful online business and give it a bricks and mortar home in Thorold.

Cupolo is from Niagara Falls and D’Onoforio is from Welland but they felt the revitalized Front Street was the perfect place to launch Low Quantity Sneakers & Apparel.

“Thorold has a nice downtown and it’s central to other cities, plus there are a lot of students in the area,” Cupolo told ThoroldNews.

He explained the demographic for their vintage 90s clothing and apparel is definitely younger patrons and the large Brock University population living in Thorold fills that bill.

“We sell new and used and we’ll trade or sell on consignment,” said Cupolo.

Much of their product line can be found on Instagram @lowquantity. “We post about six times a day,” he explained.

The young businessmen have been able to access rare sneakers that give them an edge on competitors.

“Some of these shoes are very hard to find in Canada,” Cupolo said, “but we have access to some new limited edition sneakers.”

The rare and vintage apparel in the store includes Jordan by Nike, Adidas Yeezy  and Pharell Williams sneakers, as well as Supreme, Baby Milo, and Guess Tees among others.

“I’ve been buying and selling online since 2013 and Bo was also doing the same thing. I also managed a retail store in Toronto for a while,” explained Cupolo.

The store opened last Saturday, Dec. 8, but “business has been very good,” Cupolo said.

“We’re here for the whole region,” he said, “There is a real sneaker culture in the area.”

The shop is located at 57 Front Street South.
