Knights of Columbus gearing up for Giving Back Weekend in Thorold

Empties, used batteries and non-perishables will be collected starting October 15

Get your empties and used batteries ready – a city-wide bottle drive is ready to get underway on the weekend of October 15 - 16.

The Giving Back-weekend. hosted by the Knights Of Columbus 2319 will benefit the Walker Family Cancer Center, as well as the St. Vincent De Paul Society food bank. 

Donations can be brought to the foyer in front of Holy Rosary Hall, 35 Queen Street South, Thorold. 

With the option to do a drive-up and drop off-donation, the schedule will run from 4 to 8 pm on Friday, October 15th and 10 am to 4 pm on Saturday, October 16th. 

Aside from the bottle drop-off, batteries and non-perishables for the food bank are also encouraged by the event organizers.
