A Niagara region man is $100,000 richer after winning with Instant Gold Pursuit (Game #2411).

Scott Serada of Fort Erie enjoys playing all kinds of instant tickets and this is his first big win, the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corp. said in a news release.

"I was playing my ticket and thought I only won $50. When I went to go validate it at the store, I realized I won big on the other side of the ticket. I was in shock," he said while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up his winnings.

The 62-year-old says he couldn't believe it. "I told my friends and family and they're so happy for me. It's a fantastic feeling," he said.

Serada plans to do some home renovations and take a summer road trip to the East Coast.

"Words can't begin to describe this experience," he concluded.

Instant Gold Pursuit is available for $25 and the top prize is $100,000.

The winning ticket was purchased at A-One Crescent Mart on Dominion Road in Fort Erie.
