Students, employees and visitors to Brock University won’t feel the effects of the lifting of the mask mandates toward the end of the month, after the university announced it will still require safety protocols to be in place for the rest of the term.
Apart from a continued requirement to wear a mask, vaccine mandates, booster requirements for those living on-campus, as well as mandatory self-screening will also be in place.
‘Those who have not yet received the third booster dose are encouraged to do so as soon as possible,’ the university said in an announcement.
The university grappled with a number of outbreaks in its student residences over the course of the pandemic, but has resumed most of its in-person classes this year.
#BrockU will continue its safety protocols for the rest of this term, including maintaining the masking requirement and COVID-19 vaccine mandate for anyone coming to campus.
