Gales Gas Bar on Collier Road robbed early Monday morning

Police are looking for two suspects who struck in Thorold just after midnight

Niagara police are investigating after two armed males robbed Gales Gas Bar on Collier Road South in Thorold early Monday morning.

It was just after midnight that officers responded to the gas station after the males had entered the facility with a firearm.

The suspects then fled on foot before police came there, allegedly with an undisclosed amount of money and lottery tickets.

Police said no staff members or customers were physically harmed.

Suspect 1 is described as:

  • Male
  • White
  • Medium build

Clothing description:

  • Grey baseball cap
  • Grey mask
  • Short sleeve button up shirt with red and blue stripes
  • Grey pants
  • Black and white Adidas running shoes

Suspect 2 is described as being:

  • Male
  • Medium build

Clothing description:

  • Black baseball cap with a red bandana underneath
  • Black bandana covering face
  • Long sleeve white shirt with blue stripes

Anyone who may have closed circuit security cameras (residents or businesses), doorbell video cameras, or dash cameras are asked to review their footage for suspicious activity between the period of 11:30 a.m. on Aug. 8, 2021 and 1 a.m. on Aug. 9, 2021.

Members of the public who wish to provide information anonymously can contact Crime Stoppers of Niagara online or by calling 1-800-222-8477. Crime Stoppers offers cash rewards to persons who contact the program with information which leads to an arrest.
