Movie fans were treated to a free screening of the film, Breakthrough, at the Thorold Library Friday.
The final free movie matinee for the summer will feature POMS at 2 p.m. in the Library on Friday, Aug. 23. All are welcome.
According to the International Movie Data Base, "POMS is a comedy about a group of women who form a cheerleading squad at their retirement community, proving that you're never too old to 'bring it'!"
