Niagara region says to not go swimming at four local beaches after testing showed E.coli-bacteria in the water, putting swimmers at risk of gastrointestinal infections.
Fort Erie’s Waverly Beach, Long Beach and Reebs Bay in Wainfleet as well as Sunset Beach in St Catharines have all been designated as unsafe as of this afternoon.
