A raid on a Thorold residence on Wednesday turned up $360,000 worth of hard drugs and a loaded firearm, police said in a news release on Thursday afternoon. A quartet from Toronto are facing a slew of drug- and weapons charges after they were arrested.
NRPS said street crime detectives from multiple detachments in Niagara had been working on an investigation into the regional drug trade since January. When officers descended on an address in the Bowman Crescent- and Wilkerson Street area in Thorold on Wednesday, they stumbled over a loaded 9mm firearm, 825 grams of crystal methamphetamine, 637 grams of fentanyl, 58 grams of cocaine. $2100 believed to be from the proceeds of crime was seized.
The following persons were arrested and charge, police said:
