On Saturday, March 30, the Thorold BIA, along with the Thorold Public Library and Thorold Senior Citizens Centre welcomed the local community to come out and enjoy an Easter Egg Hunt, Story Walk and more fun activities.  Participants could participate in a colouring contest and story walk at the library.  For more fun, participants were encouraged to stop by the Senior Centre for some games, hot chocolate and to de-code knock knock jokes with local coding organization, Kidz Who Can.  To find the "eggs", children looked for balloons outside of businesses.  Once they spotted a balloon, they could collect their treat from the local business; 13 stops in total.

The sun was shining and it was a beautiful day to see everyone out and enjoying our Historic Downtown.  The event saw 356 people participating.

Thank you to everyone who participated in the colouring contest.  It was tough to choose the winners.

Winners of the contest are as follows:

  • Maddie - 6 and under
  • Samantha - 7-10 years old
  • Teanna - 11-13 years old
