NRPH reported 27 new cases of COVID-19 in Niagara on Tuesday, as well as the first death in a month, bringing the death toll to 421.
According to Tuesday morning’s update, 17 cases were listed as recovered.
The number of active cases in the region has now increased to 196.
Niagara Health is currently caring for 4 patients who have tested positive for the virus.
Of those cases, one is admitted to the ICU.
