COVID-19: 25 new cases reported in Niagara today

Niagara Region Public Health reports 25 new infections of COVID-19 in the region on Friday.

Following 20 recoveries, the number of active cases in the region now stands at 244.

12 outbreaks are still listed as active.

Niagara Health is currently caring for 12 people in the hospital who have tested positive.

Among them, only a single individual is vaccinated.

Four patients are being treated in the ICU.
