COVID-19: 22 new cases in Niagara today (October 27)

NRPH reported 22 new cases of COVID-19 in Niagara on Wednesday.

Following 19 recoveries, the number of active cases was 154 as of noon.

The death toll remained unchanged at 437.

The number of hospitalized patients dropped to 5, of which all of them are admitted to the ICU.

3 are unvaccinated, 2 are fully vaccinated, according to Niagara Health.

More than 73 percent of Niagara residents are now fully vaccinated, according to the latest numbers.
