COVID-19: 102 cases reported in Niagara on Thursday

NRPH reported 102 new cases of COVID-19 on Thursday, as the death toll was adjusted to 511 to reflect three Niagara residents that died over the weekend.

According to the official tally, Niagara now has 1,463 active cases of the virus, of which 94 are hospitalized.

Niagara Health said 28 residents are being treated primarily for COVID-19.

The number of patients admitted to the ICU is now 4, with 3 unvaccinated.
