City looking for volunteers who want to make Thorold a better place

There are currently vacancies at three different committees: the Thorold Tourism Advisory Committee; the Parks, Trails and Recreation Committee; and the Road Safety Committee.

The City of Thorold is looking for volunteers who want to make the city a better place by joining one of its council committees.

There are currently vacancies at three different committees, who are looking for one volunteer each: the Thorold Tourism Advisory Committee; the Parks, Trails and Recreation Committee; and the Road Safety Committee.

These Thorold council committees meet once a month to come up with advice and recommendations, pertaining to their subject matter, for city council.

An applicant must be a resident of the City of Thorold, an owner or tenant of land, or the spouse of an owner or tenant, a Canadian Citizen and at least 18 years old.

The City Clerk of the City of Thorold is accepting applications until October 19, 2021, at 4:30pm. If you’re interested, head on over to www.thorold.ca and go to the news section on the main page to apply.
