Veteran politician Jim Bradley has been selected by his peers as the next chair of Niagara Regional Council.
This is Bradley’s first term as a Regional councillor but he was the Liberal MPP for St. Catharines since 1977 before being defeated in the last Provincial election.
Bradley, who won on the first ballot with 19 votes, easily outdistanced contenders Leanna Villella who had 7 votes and Rob Foster who had 5 votes.
