Are you an exemplary student-athlete from Thorold, in need of some financial aid for your higher education? Then you should apply for the third annual ‘Open The Door’ scholarship.
The goal of the scholarship is to provide two local high school students, one male and one female, with up to $10,000 annually for four years, to help further their higher education.
The scholarship is a collaboration between the White Family Foundation and the Runway of Recognition, who want to to remove financial barriers so that students can focus on achieving their goals.
To apply, you need to provide a letter of recommendation from a teacher or an athletic coach, a copy of your high school transcript, and an acceptance letter from an accredited post-secondary institution within Canada.
Applications close on May 1.
