Another Niagara resident dies following COVID-19 infection

23 new cases added to the list in the region today

Another Niagara resident has died after testing positive for COVID-19.

The latest death was reported on Tuesday, along with 23 new cases added to the region’s case count.

Following 32 recoveries, the number of active cases in the region is now 242.

9 outbreaks are being tracked by Public Health.

11 patients are being cared for in the hospital, of whom 2 are admitted to the ICU.

Of those 11 patients, 10 are unvaccinated according to Niagara Health.
