Join us for our largest fundraiser of the year, the IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer’s on Sunday May 26. Our goal is to raise over $200,000! This is a symbolic walk to show those living with dementia that they do not have to go through this alone.

Location:

  • Brock University – Guernsey Market
    1812 Sir Issac Brock Way
    St. Catharines, Ont.

There are 11,751 people living with dementia in the Niagara Region. Our mission is to advocate for and with people with dementia and their care partners and provide access to a diverse range of appropriate resources and supports. By providing education, personalized in-home support services and wellness programs, families can better understand dementia, navigate the health system and access the resources they need, when they need them.

Join us for a fun and educational morning consisting of a Wellness Fair, Entertainment by Cory Cruise, be amazed by the magic of Ashtar Avatar, and a Shriner’s Clown “Guyzy Wizey”. Throughout the walk there will be educational stations where participants can learn about healthy brain strategies. Hear an emotional story from Sandy our 2024 Walk Spokesperson who will share her experience of navigating through her husband’s dementia journey. All funds raised through this event stay here in Niagara supporting our programs and client services.
