26 new cases of COVID-19 in Niagara today (September 30)

NRPH reports 26 new cases of COVID-19 and 29 recoveries on Thursday.

The number of known active cases has now dropped to 236 according to the latest update.

The death toll, after moving up yesterday, remained unchanged at 431.

Thorold has 21 of those active cases.

One new outbreak was noted.

14 patients are hospitalized in Niagara after testing positive for the virus.

12 of them are unvaccinated.
