WATCH: Front-line workers, first responders will continue have first preference for child-care, Lecce says

The education minister assured reporters today that parents shouldn't have an issue finding care for their children, despite limit of 10 people per care-centre

Education Minister Stephen Lecce said today that first responders and front-line workers will continue to have first preference for child-care.

He also answered questions from reporters' inquiring about how many parents won't be able to find care for their children if centres will be maxed out at 10 people, including staff and children.

In a livestreamed press conference today, Lecce said he doesn't believe all parents will be sending their kids to child-care centre at this time so they don't forsee capacity it being an issue.
