Outgoing Sweet Pea is a perfect match for a shy boy bunny

Every week, ThoroldToday features adoptable pets via the Humane Society of Greater Niagara. For any inquiries about these adoptable friends, reach out to HSGN directly.

This week we would like to feature Sweet Pea!

Sweet Pea is an itty bitty female dwarf bunny. She was born around Nov. 1, 2023. She was found lost and alone on a beach and is lucky to be healthy and unharmed! She’s an outgoing micro-bunny who loves to explore, play and snuggle with her adoring fans at the shelter!! She has a dilute harlequin coat and her eyes have brown and blue markings! So pretty! She’s a perfect little nugget of joy!!

She's a confident little bun but her small size makes her more susceptible to accidental injury. For this reason, a dwarf bunny will do best in a home with kids over 12 years of age or an adults-only home. She can go home solo to a doting family or she can be bonded to a lonely neutered boy bunny. Opposites attract in the bunny world so an out-going bunny like Sweet Pea is a perfect match for a shy boy bunny. It's often easier to bond a baby to an adult since adults are often more accepting of sweet clueless babies. We provide instructions on how to safely introduce the bunnies.

Sweet Pea is available to go home now! She will be spayed when she's 6 months old!

Adoption fee is $40 and includes her spay, vet exam and RHDV vaccination.

Sweet Pea is a dwarf bun so a large dog kennel or large dog exercise pen is the minimum size for her home base (bigger is better!)
