Every week, ThoroldToday features adoptable pets via the Humane Society of Greater Niagara. For any inquiries about these adoptable friends, reach out to HSGN directly.

This week we would like to feature Carol Bunnet.

Carol Bunnet is strikingly pretty with dainty features and beautiful ginger low-lights in her brown coat. She's a young adult, 10lb, female, flemish giant. (Photos just don't do her justice - you've got to see her in person!!)

Carol was rescued from less than kind circumstances. When she first arrived she was scared of everything. But look what love and patience can do!

Now she's excited to see her shelter staff pals and enjoys being pet! It takes time to earn her trust but once you're on her VIP list, you're on it for life! If you're not on the list she'll zoom away and hide.

She doesn't want to fight or bite; she just wants to get away from scary situations. She loves food so can be coaxed out of her hiding spot with snacks. Her favorite treat is martin mills apple dumplings (nom nom nom). She has excellent litter box skills and is a very tidy bunny.

Carol Bunnet is a large breed bun so will need a large exercise pen or bunny-proof bedroom as her home base. She's a great candidate to free-range in a home once she's had time to settle.

She can go home solo or she can be bonded with your lonely neutered male bunny. She would pair best with a calm, confident neutered boy.

Adoption fee is $40 and includes spay, RHDV vaccine and vet exam.
