Warrant issued for woman accused of stealing from senior in palliative care

In July 2019, members of the Niagara Regional Police Service began investigating a reported theft from an elderly woman in receipt of palliative care.

Detectives from the St. Catharines Criminal Investigations Branch continued with the investigation and determined that the suspect was employed by a care agency and working in the victim's home at the time of this offence.

In an effort to respect the privacy of the victim, the name and location of the care agency is not being released at this time.

However, as a result of the investigation, police have charged Nassim F. Eronn, a 27-year-old resident of the Town of Grimsby, with:
    •    identity fraud
    •    fraud
    •    theft
    •    fail to comply with probation

Eronn has yet to be arrested, as her current whereabouts are unknown; therefore a warrant for her arrest has been requested.

If anyone has any information pertaining to the current whereabouts of Nassim F. Eronn, they are asked to contact Detective Constable Lindsay Medd at [email protected].

Police are asking for information only they do not want members of the public approaching or contacting the suspect if she is known or located.
