Two airlifted to hospital with serious injuries after disturbance call

Two men, aged 56 and 58, sustained life-threatening injuries in the incident. Police are not looking for suspects

At approximately 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2020 1 District (St. Catharines) uniform officers were called to an apartment building in the area of Queenston Street and Riordon Street in the City of St. Catharines following the report of a disturbance.

When officers arrived they located two adult males, aged 56 and 58, with injuries. The males were transported to a local hospital for assessment before both being airlifted to an out-of-town hospital with life-threatening injuries.

At this time the investigation remains ongoing by officers with the 1 District (St. Catharines) detective office. The two males are believed to have been known to each other.

At this time, detectives are not looking for further suspects in this incident.
