Three people are facing charges after the search of a St. Catharines home.
Niagara Regional Police Service started investigating the distribution of illegal drugs throughout the city last month.
That led to them getting a search warrant for a residential address on Tasker Street near Cross Street.
Detectives say they seized 24.2 grams of suspected fentanyl and 2.1 grams of suspected crystal methamphetamine on Wednesday.
“The combined estimated value of the seized drugs is $5200,” said police in a news release.
“In addition, detectives also seized $514 of Canadian currency believed to have been acquired through the proceeds of crime.”
Three suspects were arrested.
Dudley Ryel Phillip, 54, of St. Catharines has been charged with:
- Possession of Crystal Methamphetamine for the Purpose of Trafficking
- Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000
- Possession of Fentanyl for the Purpose of Trafficking
Erica K Jones, 40, of Niagara Falls has been charged with:
- Possession of Crystal Methamphetamine for the Purpose of Trafficking
- Possession of Fentanyl for the Purpose of Trafficking
Ronald Burey, 50, of no fixed address has been charged with:
- Possession of Fentanyl for the Purpose of Trafficking
All three have been released on undertakings and are scheduled to appear in court near the end of next month.
