Thieves pilfer about $20K worth of comic books from Niagara Falls shop (update)

Police have identified a suspect in the break and enter

Update:
The investigation into the May 2, 2022, break and enter to a Niagara Falls comic bookstore has been ongoing by detectives from the 2 District – Niagara Falls Street Crime Unit.

As a result of the investigation a male suspect was identified by detectives.

Zenon Klein Orman (32 years old) of Toronto is wanted for the Criminal Code offence of:

  • Break enter and commit place other than dwelling, Sec. 348(1)(b)

His current location is not known.  Please see the photo.

The investigation into the identity of the second suspect remains ongoing.

Original story:
On May 2, 2022, at approximately 10:53 p.m., 2 District – Niagara Falls uniform officers from the Niagara Regional Police Service responded to a report of a break and enter at a comic book store on Lundy's Lane near Lowell Avenue in Niagara Falls.

Officers and a K9 Unit arrived on scene and a check of the area did not locate any suspects. Officers found the front door glass had been smashed ($500 damage) and suspects entered the store and targeted collector comic books. The cost of the items stolen is estimated at approximately $19,000-20,000.

The investigation has found there was two suspects.

The investigation by 2 District Street Crime Unit detectives remains ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to call 905-688-4111, ext. 1009667.
