Suspects sought after break and enter at Walmart in St. Catharines (4 photos)

Police say the pair broke in and stole multiple items from the store before being interrupted by an employee working the night shift

On Dec. 11, 2021, 1 District (St. Catharines) uniform officers with the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) responded to a break and enter in progress at the Walmart located at 221 Glendale Avenue in the city of St. Catharines.

Investigation revealed that an unknown male and female had broken into the Walmart and stole multiple items from the store before being interrupted by an employee working the night shift. As a result, the suspects tried to get away however the manager made an attempt to grab the bags the suspects were holding causing some of the items to fall to the ground.

Officers arrived on scene however the suspects were gone prior to police arrival.

Both suspects were last observed in an older model grey Honda 4 door SUV.

Suspect 1 is described as:

  • Female
  • White
  • 25-30 years
  • 5'0"
  • Medium build
  • Wearing grey track pants and a tan hooded sweatshirt with the hood up
  • Face mask

Suspect 2 is described as:

  • Male
  • White
  • 25-30 years
  • 6'0"
  • Slender build
  • Wearing black pants, black hooded sweatshirt with the hood up, black face mask
