Suspect arrested for 'indecent act' at Pen Centre Walmart

On Nov. 8, 2022, the Niagara Regional Police Service received information that assisted the investigating officer in identifying the suspect wanted in an indecent act investigation that occurred at the Pen Centre shopping mall located at 221 Glendale Ave. in the City of St. Catharines on Nov. 3, 2022.

Jonathan Shred (32 years) of St. Catharines was arrested on Nov. 9, 2022, and has been charged with the following Criminal Code offences:
    •    Indecent act
    •    Fail to comply with probation order

Shred is being held in custody pending an appearance in bail court on Nov. 10, 2022 via video link to the Robert S.K. Welch Courthouse located at 59 Church St. in the City of St. Catharines.

The Niagara Regional Police Service would like to thank members of the public who assisted by providing information that resulted in the arrest of Shred.
