Niagara Regional Police are looking for a knife-wielding robber who stole cash from two pizza delivery drivers in Thorold over the weekend.
In both robberies—first on Saturday night, then Sunday afternoon—the drivers arrived at their pre-determined locations, only to be met by a man with a knife in his hand and a blue medical mask covering his face.
Both times, the robber fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. The driver in the second incident suffered minor injuries but did not require hospitalization.
The suspect is considered armed and dangerous.
Detectives are asking Thorold residents with CCTV footage that captures Niagara Falls Rd., Morton St., and/or Ontario St.—or motorists who may have been in the area with an operational dash-camera—to review their recordings.
