Police seize drugs and cash in Niagara Falls arrest

A 43-year-old from Niagara Falls is facing multiple drug charges

On Thursday, May 12, 2022, detectives from the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) 2 District – Niagara Falls Street Crime Unit conducted an investigation into the possession of stolen property.

As a result of that investigation a male suspect was identified in the City of Niagara Falls. Following the man’s arrest when he was searched detectives discovered and seized:

  • 1.077kg of Fentanyl (estimated street value $102,000)
  • 2.7 grams of Crystal Methamphetamine (estimated street value $270)
  • $2185 CDN

Stephen Francis Marsh, 43 years old, of Niagara Falls was arrested and charged with the following criminal offences:

  • Possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000 (2 Counts)
  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking (Fentanyl)
  • Possession of a schedule 1 substance (Methamphetamine)
  • Possession of proceeds of crime under $5,000.

Marsh was held in custody and will attend a video bail hearing to the Robert S. K. Welch Courthouse in St. Catharines on May 13, 2022.
