Police seize suspected drugs, $20K worth of stolen property from Niagara Falls residence (6 photos)

Police say they seized two tasers, a shotgun and crossbow, among other weapons

Since November of 2020, detectives with the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS), 2 District (Niagara Falls) Street Crime Unit, have been conducting an investigation into the sales of illegal drugs, from a residence in the area of Main Street and Murray Street, in the City of Niagara Falls.

As a result of the investigation, detectives were able to identify two male suspects.

On Nov. 18, 2020, the suspects were arrested.

Subsequently, detectives executed a search warrant and seized 11.6 grams of crystal methamphetamine, 5.7 grams of cocaine, 11 grams of fentanyl, 9 grams of MDMA, $1615 in Canadian currency, two tasers, a shotgun, ammunition, a crossbow, a replica handgun, a brass knuckle, and $20,000 worth of stolen property.

Alan R. Christensen (34 years old) of Niagara Falls, was arrested and charged with the following offences of:

  • Possession for the purpose schedule I substance (fentanyl)
  • Possession for the purpose schedule I substance (methamphetamine)
  • Possession for the purpose schedule I substance (cocaine)
  • Possession for the purpose schedule I substance (MDMA)
  • Possession of proceeds of crime
  • Possession of a prohibited weapon (taser) (two counts)
  • Unauthorized possession of a firearm
  • Possession of a firearm knowing its possession is unauthorized
  • Careless storage firearm
  • Careless storage ammunition
  • Possession of property obtained by crime
  • Possession of a prohibited weapon (brass knuckle folding knife)
  • Fail to comply with recognizance
  • Fail to comply with probation order
  • Fail to comply with prohibition order

Christensen was held in custody pending a bail hearing that is expected to take place on November 19, 2020 at the Robert S.K Welch Courthouse, located at 59 Church Street, in the City of St. Catharines.

Brian J. Krueger (37 years old) of Niagara Falls, was arrested and charged with the following offences of:

  • Possession of a prohibited weapon (Brass Knuckles)
  • Carry concealed weapon
  • Unauthorized possession of a firearm
  • Possession of a firearm knowing its possession is unauthorized
  • Careless storage firearm
  • Careless storage ammunition
  • Possession of property obtained by crime
  • Possession of a prohibited weapon (taser)
  • Possession of a prohibited weapon (brass knuckle folding knife)
  • Fail to comply with prohibition order

Krueger was held in custody pending a bail hearing that is expected to take place on Nov. 19, 2020 at the Robert S.K Welch Courthouse, located at 59 Church Street, in the City of St. Catharines.
