Police investigating assault in Niagara Falls

A 43-year-old man suffered non-life threatening injuries in the incident, which police believe happened between 12 a.m. and 1 a.m. Wednesday

On Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2021 at approximately 2 a.m., 2 District (Niagara Falls) uniform officers responded to the area of Lowell Avenue and North Street in Niagara Falls for an assault investigation.

Officers located a 43-year-old male who had sustained multiple injuries. He was transported to a local hospital and received treatment for non-life-threatening injuries.

Detectives from the 2 District Criminal Investigative Branch were assigned to the investigation. It was determined that the male had walked by Lundy’s Lane at  Corwin Avenue at approximately 12 a.m. The male then walked to the area of Lundy’s Lane near Franklin Avenue at approximately 1 a.m.

Detectives are requesting homeowners that reside on Corwin Avenue, Spence Street, Barker Street, Carlton Avenue and Culp Street to review any exterior video surveillance between 12 a.m. and 1 a.m. on Sept. 8, 2021 for any signs of a disturbance or fight.
