Niagara Falls drug bust nets $16K worth of narcotics

Four charged after officers seize suspected cocaine, fentanyl, crystal meth

In April 2022, Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) street crime detectives assigned to 2 District (Niagara Falls / Niagara-On-The-Lake) commenced an investigation into the distribution of illegal drugs throughout the City of Niagara Falls.

In the afternoon of May 31, 2022, detectives received judicial authorization to execute a search warrant at an address in the area of Green Avenue and Rysdale Street in the City of Niagara Falls.

As a result of the investigation 104.4 grams of suspected cocaine, 25.1 grams of suspected fentanyl, .07 grams of suspected crystal methamphetamine, and $1,980 in Canadian currency believed to be from the proceeds of crime was seized. The combined estimated street value of the seized drugs is $16,080.

Cathy Dennis (48 years) of Niagara Falls has been arrested and charged with:
    •    Possession for the purpose of trafficking fentanyl - Controlled Drugs and Substances Act
    •    Possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine – Controlled Drugs and Substances Act
    •    Possession of a crystal methamphetamine – Controlled Drugs and Substances Act
    •    Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000 – Criminal Code

Candy Stewart (53 years) of Niagara Falls has been arrested and charged with:
    •    Possession for the purpose of trafficking fentanyl - Controlled Drugs and Substances Act
    •    Possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine – Controlled Drugs and Substances Act
    •    Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000 – Criminal Code

Christopher Judge (47 years) of Niagara-On-The-Lake has been arrested and charged with:
    •    Possession for the purpose of trafficking fentanyl - Controlled Drugs and Substances Act
    •    Possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine – Controlled Drugs and Substances Act
    •    Possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000 – Criminal Code

Rebecca McDonald (39 years) of St. Catharines has been arrested and charged with:
    •    Possession for the purpose of trafficking fentanyl - Controlled Drugs and Substances Act
    •    Possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine – Controlled Drugs and Substances Act
    •    Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000 – Criminal Code

Dennis, Stewart, Judge and McDonald have all been released on Form 10 Undertakings. They have been scheduled to attend the Robert S.K. Welch Courthouse on Aug. 4, 2022 at 9 a.m.
