Niagara Falls armed robbery suspects claimed to be delivering pizza: Police

On Monday, May 17 2021 at 10:01 p.m., 2 District (Niagara Falls) uniform officers were dispatched to the area of Drummond Road and North Street in the City of Niagara Falls in regards to a robbery.

Information received was that a female and male victim were getting robbed by two suspects who were carrying firearms.

Officers arrived on scene, however, the suspects had fled the scene prior to their arrival. Investigation revealed that two males knocked on the door at approximately 9:50 p.m. claiming they were delivering a pizza. When the victims answered the door, the two males forced entry into the living room while allegedly carrying assault rifles.

One of the suspects used the butt end of the rifle to strike the male in the head and arm. The female engaged the males and was also struck with a butt-end of a rifle in the head.

Both victims sustained non-life threatening injuries and were transported to a local hospital.

The suspects fled the scene with the victims cash, running shoes, air soft rifle and wallet.

Suspect 1 is described as:
    •    Male
    •    Black
    •    5’10
    •    Slender
    •    Black hair
    •    Wearing surgical mask and white latex gloves and Nike grey jogging pants

Suspect 2 is described as:
    •    Male
    •    Black
    •    5’10
    •    Wearing surgical mask and white latex gloves and grey sweatshirt

This appears to be a targeted event.
