Narcotics, airsoft guns, stolen property seized in Niagara Falls (12 photos)

Police hope to locate the owners of the stolen property

On Sunday, Oct. 10, 2021, 2 District (Niagara Falls) uniform officers and 2 District (Niagara Falls) detectives from the Criminal Investigative Branch attended the Ramada Inn located at 4357 River Rd., Niagara Falls and subsequently executed a search warrant. As a result, police seized a quantity of illicit narcotics and airsoft rifles and pistols with a strong resemblance to real firearms.

Shaun Christie (36 years) of Niagara Falls has been arrested and charged with the following offences of:
    •    possession of a schedule I substance (fentanyl), contrary to section 4(1) CDSA
    •    possession of a schedule I substance (crystal meth), contrary to section 4(1) CDSA
    •    possession of a schedule I substance (heroin), contrary to section 4(1) CDSA
    •    possession of a schedule III substance (psilocybin mushroom), contrary to section 4(1) CDSA
    •    possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000, contrary to section 335(B) CC
    •    fail to comply with probation order, contrary to section 733.1(1) CC

Christie was held in custody and was expected to appear in court on Oct. 11, 2021.

Detectives also located several pieces of jewelry inside the hotel room which they believe to have been stolen. They are seeking the public’s assistance in locating the owners of the following items:
    •    silver charm bracelet – with the engravings “Amanda”
    •    Scorpio charm
    •    baseball charm
    •    volleyball charm
    •    golden pendant
    •    engraved with Hail Mary prayer
    •    silver rose pin
    •    gold / silver XOXO watch
    •    gold / silver Aviator watch with black face
    •    gold Timex watch
    •    black Fossil watch
    •    silver Roots watch
    •    gold / silver Rubina Time watch
    •    pink Roots watch
