Motorcyclist pronounced dead at the scene of collision in Niagara Falls

Police believe he lost control of the motorcycle and left the roadway

On Saturday, July 20, 2019 at approximately 10:41 a.m., the Niagara Regional Police Service and the Niagara Emergency Medical Services responded to a report of a motorcycle collision on Netherby Road near McKenney Road in the City of Niagara Falls.

Initial investigation revealed that a Honda motorcycle was being driven eastbound on Netherby Road when the 50 year-old male resident of Toronto lost control of the motorcycle and left the roadway. The rider suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

This collision remains under investigation by the Coroner's Office and Detectives of the Niagara Regional Police Services Collision Reconstruction Unit.
