Missing man last seen in St. Catharines (update: located)

Police are asking public to help locate missing 45-year-old, who is believed to be on foot and may be in Niagara Falls

Nov. 17 update

On Nov. 16, 2022, missing person Michael (Mike) Jackson was located.  Out of respect for the next of kin no further information is being released.

Nov. 15 original release

The Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) is currently conducting a missing person investigation stemming from the Town of Fort Erie.

Officers assigned to 5 District (Fort Erie) are currently searching for Michael (Mike) Jackson, 45. He was last seen yesterday, Nov. 14, 2022, at 8 p.m. in the City of St. Catharines.

Mike is described as follows:

  • White male
  • 5’7” tall
  • Heavy build
  • Bald/balding

Jackson was last seen wearing:

  • Grey hooded sweatshirt
  • Jeans

Mike is believed to be on foot and may be in the City of Niagara Falls. 2 District (Niagara Falls / Niagara-on-the-Lake) officers are currently assisting 5 District officers in the search. 

Both the police and Jackson’s family are concerned for his welfare.

5 District officers are asking the public for assistance.  Anyone who may have information as to the whereabouts of Mike are being asked to contact the NRPS Communications Unit at 905-688-4111.
