Officers arrived on-scene in the area of Stanley Avenue and Robinson Street. The initial investigation determined that a motorist had been driving their 2012 brown Chevrolet Malibu along Stanley Avenue when a woman fell into the roadway in front of the car. When the driver got out of their car to help the fallen person, an unknown male appeared and tried to steal the car. The driver confronted the unknown male suspect, at which time [it is alleged that] he was verbally threatened with an unseen gun. The suspect also tried to strike the driver.
