Man wanted after Niagara Falls stabbing at Tim Horton’s drive-thru

On Sunday, Nov. 6, 2022, at approximately 9:56 a.m., 2 District – Niagara Falls uniform officers from the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) responded to a report of a stabbing incident in the south end of Niagara Falls.

Officers arrived on the scene at the Tim Horton’s parking lot on McLeod Road at Dorchester Road. Officers located a male and female victim (both in their 20s). The male victim was suffering from a serious stab wound. He was treated at the scene by Niagara Emergency Medical Service paramedics and Niagara Falls Fire Services. The male victim was transported to a local hospital with what is believed to be non-life-threatening injuries. The female victim was also transported privately to a local hospital for further assessment and care after being punched multiple times.

The initial investigation determined that the victims had become involved in an argument with a male suspect while in the drive-thru. The disagreement escalated and became physical. The parties were not previously known to each other. After the incident, the suspect fled the scene in a black 2010 Audi Q5. The suspect and his vehicle were spotted a short time later near Queenston Street and Eastchester Avenue in St. Catharines. The suspect ran from the area on foot. An NRPS K9 Unit attended the area and conducted a track but was not able to locate the suspect.

2 District detectives have been assigned to the investigation.

Boysie Alexander Ashton Murray, 41, of St. Catharines is wanted for the criminal offences of:

  • Assault with a weapon
  • Aggravated assault
  • Carry concealed weapon
  • Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose

Murray is described as:

  • Black male, 41 years
  • 6’1” feet tall, 200 lbs.
  • Black hair, brown eyes
  • Tattoos
    • Right forearm – words
    • Right side of neck “MOD”
  • Scars – upper lip and left forearm

Murray was last seen wearing:

  • Blue track suit
  • White t-shirt with large logo on the chest
  • Dark baseball cap with white logo
  • Dark shoes

Murray’s current location is unknown, as he continues to evade arrest. Murray has ties to St. Catharines, Niagara Falls and Toronto.

Any member of the public who sees Murray should not confront him as he may still be armed. Members of the public should contact the police by calling 911.
