Man robbed at knifepoint in Niagara Falls motel

At approximately 5 a.m. on Tuesday, March 10, 2020, 2 District (Niagara Falls) uniform officers were called to the area of Lundy’s Lane and Kalar Road in the City of Niagara Falls following the report of a robbery.

When officers arrived, they located an adult male who alleged that he was robbed at knifepoint.

Further investigation by officers has revealed the male was confronted by two males and two females in a nearby motel room and had a large sum of currency taken.

No injuries were sustained in the altercation.

The four suspects were located, arrested and charges.

Twenty-three-year-old Tyrell Lippert-Green of the City of Hamilton, 19-year-old Lionel Evans of the City of St. Catharines, 19-year-old Sierra Hysert of the City of Niagara Falls and 23-year-old Tatiana Collette of the City of St. Catharines are all facing the following alleged charge:

  • Robbery contrary to section 344(1)(B) of the Criminal Code of Canada

Lippert-Green, Evans, Hysert and Collette are all currently being held in custody pending a bail hearing on Wednesday, March 11, 2020, at the Robert S.K. Welch Courthouse in the City of St. Catharines.
