On Nov. 3, 2022 at approximately 8:25 p.m., 1 District St. Catharines uniform officers from the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) responded to a report of indecent acts at the Pen Centre shopping mall in St. Catharines.

Officers arrived on scene and the initial investigation determined that a male suspect had been watching and following female shoppers in the Walmart Store. The male was observed using his phone to video record the females. The male also exposed his penis and committed an indecent act. The suspect fled prior to officers arrival.

An NRPS K9 Unit attempted a track in the area but were not able to locate the suspect.

The unknown suspect is described as:
    •    White male, 25-35 years
    •    5’4” ft. tall, slender build
    •    Goatee – scraggly

The suspect was last seen wearing (see photos):
    •    Dark beanie toque
    •    Orange sport sunglasses
    •    Grey baggy sweatpants
    •    Dark construction jacket with neon/grey reflectors on the jacket (X pattern on back)
    •    Grey hooded sweatshirt
    •    Black running shoes with white soles

The investigating officers are attempting to identify the suspect and are appealing to the public.

Anyone who may know or recognize the suspect are asked to contact officers by calling 905-688-4111, option 3, extension 1009570.

Members of the public who wish to provide information anonymously can contact Crime Stoppers of Niagara online or by calling 1-800-222-8477. Crime Stoppers offers cash rewards to persons who contact the program with information which leads to an arrest.
